About the area

Around a two and a half hour flight from the UK into Alicante and a 40 minute drive takes you to Torrevieja on the Costa Blanca in southeast Spain. Literally translated as Old Tower, named after the many watch towers along the coastline from when this was a fishing village, Torrevieja is now a popular tourist destination with holidaymakers enjoying the gorgeous sandy beaches and water sports, the nature reserves, the two salt lakes, and of course the many restaurants and bars too.

With year-round sunshine, beautiful beaches and affordable prices, demand for property around Torrevieja has increased by 40 per cent over the last two years.
