The original series of A Place in the Sun was presented by Amanda Lamb and helped British property hunters find their dream homes abroad. Such was its popularity that in the following years three other series were launched; Winter Sun, Summer Sun and Home or Away? - each one building on the foundations created by the original A Place in the Sun.
