About the area

Nestled amongst orange groves and rolling hills, two miles in from the coast, Oliva is pretty easy to get to, with both Valencia and Alicante’s airports around an hours drive away. It’s a town split in two. The more historic side, home to a majority of its expats has an old world charm with cobbled streets and pretty terraced houses. While the newer end is a working town packed with all the modern conveniences you’d expect. Down by the coast are miles of pristine beach, home to the white sand and rugged dunes this stretch is well known for, and with so many spots to choose from it can feel like you have it all to yourself! There are also some bigger and perhaps better known holiday locations like Gandia and Denia within reach that are well worth exploring.
