About the area

The Region of Valencia may perhaps be best known for its sparkling coast, but head inland and you’ll find breath taking landscapes, beautiful villages and historic sites. It is home to an inexhaustible selection of destinations where you can enjoy wine tourism, mountain biking, hiking, sightseeing(heritage, historic and cultural sights) and archaeological sites. With the airports in Valencia and Alicante both an hour or so drive away this area is very accessible, and within reach of some of Spain’s most popular holiday hotspots like Benidorm and Denia-but stepping away from the busy coastline into the countryside you would never know. The rolling hills and fertile farmland here are home to some beautifully traditional towns and villages, nestled amongst the orange groves and protected natural parks.
