House hunters Tracey and Fran have been best friends since their schooldays, and they’ve now decided to club together to buy a holiday home on the East Coast of Fuerteventura. Helping them find perfect place for their budget of £250,000 is Danni Menzies. She has five options to show them but will any be ‘the one’ for Tracey and Fran?

About the area

Fuerteventura is the second largest of the Canary Islands. Direct flights there take under 5 hours from the UK. Much of the island’s inland landscapes are protected areas, dominated by volcanic mountains and large, desert-like plains. But the coast tells a different story. Bustling with tourists, Fuerteventura has become a holiday hotspot with visitors flocking to its promenades, enjoying al fresco drinks and food in the Mediterranean sunshine. And there are over 150 beaches to choose from, with a lovely mix of rocky shores and golden sands. They’re popular with families, with coves providing the perfect places for swimming or exploring.
