Ben Hillman jets off to Spain’s Southern Costa Calida to help house hunters Joan and Andrew from Stirlingshire find their dream holiday home. With 5 grown up children and 5 grandchildren between them, they want a property the whole family can enjoy. About the area

Around a 2 and a half hour flight from the UK takes you to Murcia and a half an hours drive from there is the stunning Costa Calida in south east Spain. Literally translated as “warm coast” the Costa Calida has 120 miles of sandy beaches and attracts holiday makers year round, who want to make the most of the water sports, the traditional charm and natural wonders on offer here. Along the coastline is a good mix of larger, popular towns such as Puerto de Mazzaron with its marina and bustling nightlife, as well as quieter villages such as Isla Plana for those who want to get away from it all.
