Paramjit has a budget of £170,000 for his holiday home and Jean has 5 great options - but will any be perfect?
About the area
Spain’s Costa Blanca can generally be divided into two areas, north and south. The coastline north of Alicante Airport is more rugged, with traditional Spanish villages and rocky coals. In today’s search, we will be house hunting south of the airport, to which direct flights take around three hours from the UK. This stretch is home to popular holiday resorts like Torrevieja and Playa Flamenca. The beaches tend to be wider and sandy, are often backed by bustling promenades filled with tourists enjoying shopping, food, and drink in the sunshine. For those looking for more than sunbathing, there’s still loads on offer here, with historic churches and castles aplenty and some lovely marinas to explore too. The property market is moving fast, but prices differ from town to town.
