About the area

Valencia is just over 2 hours flight from the UK – and we’re going to be house hunting in an area within 45 minutes drive of the airport and the city centre. The Valencia region in the east of Spain has a population of nearly 5,000,000 people and genuinely offers something for everyone – there’s the lively and bustling city, the third biggest in Spain which is full of great architecture, shops and culture – as well as nearly 400 miles of stunning coastline and loads of beautiful countryside. This is where two thirds of Europe's citrus fruits come from, including Valencia's famous oranges – and there are some juicy property deals to be had there as well!
