Married couple Clare and Paul have sold their home in the UK and are ready to find their new permanent home around the Northern Costa Blanca. Their dog Barney will join them too, so the pressure is on for property expert Jasmine Harman to find them something perfect for their budget of £430,000. Jasmine has five great options, but will any be good enough to make an offer?
About the area
The Northern Costa Blanca covers the stretch of coast from Denia down to Alicante, and is seen as one of the more untouched and traditional sections of Spain’s southern coastline. Direct flights into Alicante take under 3 hours from the UK. Visitors are spoilt for beaches here with a great range of sandy shores and pretty rocky coves. The turquoise waters are gentle and provide the perfect place to enjoy a swim, snorkel or some water sports.
The area is dotted with hillside villages and seaside towns – like Moraira, with charming cafes and marinas. There are also several bustling cities along this stretch of coast – including Gandia and Denia, steeped in history and filled with visitors lapping up the Costa Blanca’s famous sunshine.
