Louise and Andrew are looking for a holiday home in the Northern Costa Blanca, with Louise having holidayed in the area as a child. Lee Juggurnauth is tasked with finding their perfect place for their maximum budget of £240,000. Will any of the five properties they see hit the spot?
About the area
Located in the eastern region of Spain, the northern Costa Blanca stretches 57-miles from Alicante to Dénia. You can get here via Alicante or Valencia airports in around two and a quarter hours. With its sandy beaches, marinas and rocky coves, the northern part of the costa Blanca is less developed than the southern end. And with 325 days of sunshine a year, it’s a favourite with the Brits, with visitor numbers increasing year on year. We’re going to be looking at the area around Javea, once a sleepy fishing town, but now a thriving neighbourhood, surrounded by natural landscapes, and set against the stunning Montgo mountain.
