La Duqesa, which translated as ‘The Duchess’, lies in the region of Manilva on the south east coast of Spain, and is a bustling fishing port with a beautiful marina. Its main landmarks are a lighthouse and an 18th Century fortress, built to protect the town from pirates. Visitors are also drawn to the area’s tranquil blue waters and long stretches of sandy beaches, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy the Spanish lifestyle.
