What's the appeal?

Axarquia is a beautiful, relatively undiscovered, region in Southern Spain, with a sub-tropical climate, spectacular landscape with mountains & valleys and over 30 miles of coastline with 15 miles of golden beaches. Axarquia is a word of Arab origin which refers to the position to the east of a place. It is the easternmost region of Malaga. Axarquia retains all the charms of ancient Spanish countryside life. The area is an ideal location for those in search of tranquillity and a taste of old fashioned Spain.
