What's the appeal?

Axarquia is a beautiful and relatively undiscovered region in Southern Spain, close to Malaga which can be flown to directly from over 10 UK airports. The region enjoys 30 miles of coastline, packed with golden sand beaches and which includes the popular tourist towns of Velez, Malaga and Torre Del Mar. Inland, where we’re focusing our search, Axarquia’s white washed villages have all the charms of traditional Spanish countryside life, alongside a lot of the amenities and facilities visitors require. Because of this, the regions popularity with buyers from abroad is growing with villages such as Competa and Cannilas de Albaida now as much as fifty percent expat. But as they’re away from the popular holiday resorts down on the coast, prices can be as much as fifty percent lower.
