About the area

Paphos was originally a traditional fishing village, but since the 1970s it’s grown into a coastal city and become one of the most popular resorts on the island, attracting around four million visitors a year! It’s a Unesco World Heritage site, and is famous for being the birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek Goddess of love, so if it’s sun, sea and sand that you’re after then this love island is the perfect holiday hotspot.
