Karen and Jerry Upton from Farnborough wanted a family friendly 2 bedroom apartment near the beach in the North of the island of Corfu. With a budget of £90,000 very little that Danni Menzies showed them impressed, but thankfully one caught their eye and under budget at £82,000 they did a deal and bought their dream holiday apartment in May 2021. With the focus on spending time with the grandchildren and Jerry’s love of quadbikes Danni travelled back to the island to see how their island retreat was working out for all the family and the bikes too!

Couple Lawrence and Simon know France well but having recently retired they wanted to get to know Charente much better by purchasing a holiday cottage that they could spend up to 6 months of the year in. Jasmine Harman managed to impress with the final property she showed them – a house by the river with a ‘loo with a view’! Shortly after filming ended Lawrence and Simon purchased the home and have spent as much time as possible making the cottage their own. Jasmine re-visits 3 years after the deal went through to see the transformation they’ve made both inside and outside as well as taking a little time out to sample the region’s best known product – Cognac.
