The property

This is a country house with two completely independent apartments. One apartment is about 100m² and is listed in the land register as Magazzino, the other flat is about 120m². The neighbourhood

Another plus point of this property is its location in the Nebroden nature reserve. The house is about 600 metres above sea level. The access to the house is a bit tedious on asphalt roads with some narrow bends, but the 15-minute drive from the coast is worth it, because you are in the middle of nature, even if there are inhabited houses in the neighbourhood.

Gioiosa Marea, a charming and pleasant seaside town, is located in the north of Sicily on the Tyrrhenian coast of Sicily - opposite the Aeolian Islands and about 70 kilometres west of Messina.

It is dominated by a long and sunny sandy beach with crystal-clear water, situated between the rocky Capo Skino and the Saracen tower of Gliaca. Gioiosa Marea is known for its beautiful panoramic promenade and the fantastic colours of the sunsets over the skyline of the islands of Filicudi and Alicudi.

The old town has retained many of its 18th century buildings and at the same time the many shops, bars, restaurants and supermarkets provide a fun and pleasant contrast.

Gioiosa Marea is also an ideal starting point for exploring the varied Sicily. Nearby is the Catholic pilgrimage site of Tindari, an ancient cultural site with Greek excavations such as the theatre or the Villa Romana in Patti with its mosaic floors.
