About A Place in the Sun Live Manchester

Our first A Place in the Sun Live exhibition in Manchester took place way back in 2008, we then took a break until it was brought back to the  North West in 2016.

Over 20,000 visitors have benefited from this introduction to a world of overseas properties, insight and experience, brought to Manchester for three days only.

We enjoy staging our event at Manchester Central in the heart of this great city and having the opportunity to meet all sorts of people looking to buy their very own place in the sun. Manchester and the North West are well served by airports making an overseas home an accessible – and exciting - possibility.

Some of our visitors are at the beginning of their purchasing journey with others looking at specific properties and locations that suit their budget and lifestyle and already know what they want but need help to make their dream come true. Our Manchester exhibition caters for buyers at all points of their journey.

In addition to hundreds of overseas property agents and private sellers, the show features a range of service companies providing expert advice on legal, tax, healthcare, financial, currency transfer and relocation matters.

Health and Safety Update

We are in close communication with the Manchester Central venue team to monitor the on-going situation and, following current direction from the UK Government and health organisations and the current low risk levels to individuals, the event will be continuing and Manchester Central remains open for events.

Manchester Central are putting in place a series of measures to protect visitors and have communicated the following to us as their current position:

  • The safety and security of visitors to our venue is our upmost priority
  • Manchester Central remains fully open for business, with all events going ahead as planned
  • While the UK risk level of Coronavirus is moderate, the risk to individuals remains low
  • We have installed signage in all toilets and digital screens across the venue advising staff and visitors on the importance of maintaining good hand and personal hygiene
  • Sanitising stations with dispensers are being made available around the venue to supplement the hand cleaning products in all toilet facilities
  • Our onsite first aid team have been fully briefed and have plans in place to deal with anyone reporting symptoms and believes they may have been in contact with the virus
  • We are continuing to monitor advice from the Department of Health and Social Care, Public Health England and World Health Organisation.

hope that helps but please do contact us on [email protected] if you need any more information or help,

We look forward to seeing you this weekend!
