The village is typically Spanish with the majority of homes in the centre being Spanish-owned. This, coupled with the fact that there are a number of other nationalities living here permanently ensures a stable population and makes it a charming place to visit throughout the year. The best months for sunny weather are from April to October and the Winter months can be surprisingly warm and sunny too. Even in mid-Winter, daytime temperatures are often between 15 and 18 degrees Celcius.
