A huge freshwater lake provides not only the opportunity for fishing but also lots of fun with various types of boats for hire. A tour around the ancient chateau is a must.

St Gilles Croix de Vie on the coast has a harbor, miles of wonderful sandy beaches, fresh produce markets, shops, supermarkets and many bars and restaurants with the chance to try the local seafood dishes.
