There is a choice of beaches – a number of small coves tucked under the cliffs or several kilometres of finest white sand and rolling sand dunes set around an immense natural bay with views to Lagos.

The park is open all year and has a swimming pool, restaurant, bar and the convenience of a shop and laundrette. Alvor is just a short 10 minute walk away and has shops supermarkets, banks, bars and a choice of restaurants catering for all tastes – Indian, Chinese, Italian and of course traditional Portugese restaurants with the opportunity to taste the freshly caught local seafood.
