New issue of A Place in the Sun magazine is now out

Finally the wait is over. The Spring issue of A Place in the Sun magazine - our first ever quarterly edition - is now in the shops, at the same price of £3.50.

We've got 180 new-look pages packed full of everything you need to know about buying a property overseas, from all the basics about purchasing a home in Spain, to an in-depth feature on the US market, and the best places to invest in 2013.

We kick off with our great new columnist, Nick Snelling, who tells it how it is about life as an expat in Spain right now. Forget rose-tinted agent puff, or media scare stories, this is essential reading.

Further highlights include a piece comparing the two major Portuguese buying hotspots, the Algarve and the Silver Coast, what you can buy in Turkey for £50k, £100k, £200k and more; the pros and cons of different Caribbean islands plus a piece on Italian cities vs country pads.

If you are tempted by doing up a wreck in Greece (there are few going cheap right now), you have to read our report laden with tips by a British couple who have certainly learnt the hard way. You certainly need a little patience...

Finally, we offer plenty of suggestions for weekend holiday homes - from places within a two-hour flight, to those within a four-hour flight, as sought by this issue's property hunters, Nigel and Maria Kennedy from Brighton.

Plus, in total we offer around 200 properties for sale, so you simply can't afford to miss it.

On sale at all good newsagents from 4th April 2013.
