February 2019 saw the opening of Corvera International Airport (RMU) which is just a 15-minute drive from The Resort entrance, flights in and out daily from the UK and Europe.
2018 saw the opening of The Hotel at The Golf Resort of Hacienda del Alamo, as the centre piece of HDA, a beautiful boutique style hotel with open spaces, stunning vistas and several options for 'food and beverage'.

Spanish Village Hacienda del Alamo, here you will find a variety of businesses, shops, restaurants, and bars, giving life to this hub of activity near the hotel, clubhouse, and golf academy. Fairways Gastro Bar now occupies an enviable location looking over the golf course to the distant mountains, currently open from 4pm, varied drinks and food menu. Two kiosk bar/restaurants open daily with a selection of English and Spanish food. Pam’s kitchen in the Spanish Village is also turning out to be a ´foodies´ destination. Great beaches can be found at Los Alcazares (Mar Menor) and at Puerto de Mazarrón, both just 25 minutes from the resort.
