This Los Pinos ground-floor studio apartment is in excellent condition and ready to move into! Pimiento´s Restaurant can be found at the far side of the car park, where you can enjoy fine dining at reasonable prices or just a couple of drinks on their terrace with amazing views. Sunday lunch is a favourite of ours here. It is open in the busier months and offers occasional live entertainment and events such as wine-tasting evenings and afternoon teas.
Located just 2.5 km (30 minutes walk or a 3 minute drive) to the church square (and all the other amenities) in San Miguel de Salinas, in a very tranquil position between the Mirador de San Miguel and Ciudad de las Comunicaciones urbanizations. The Campoamor road is easily accessible and takes you on a beautiful country drive through citrus groves and past the golf courses of Las Colinas and Campoamor to the beach resort of Mil Palmeras, just 10km away (13 minutes in the car). Mil Palmeras is probably our favourite beach town and has some excellent restaurants, but then so does San Miguel, so it´s sometimes difficult to choose. The local taxi service is good, so if you find yourself in San Miguel town centre for example and need a lift back, you won´t be stranded!
The shopping and leisure centres of Orihuela Costa (La Zenia Boulevard, La Fuente, Villamartin Plaza etc) are also a very short drive away. Across the road is a duck pond and a childrens playground, and if you want to go for a walk in the Sierra Escalona and enjoy the miles and miles of unspoilt beauty that this nature reserve has to offer, then you can do that too without having to get in your car.
