A door to the rear left of the living room leads into a lovely kitchen (3 x 3m), with black-painted beams, still with some of their original beams, and beautiful, rustic but practical kitchen units. A door to one side leads into a useful laundry/utility room (2 x 2m) and from here, the back door leads out into the walled garden, a peaceful, serene space with an in-ground pool and space for outdoor sunbathing and living.

Stairs lead up from the kitchen to the upper floor, onto a landing area used as a second living room. This lovely room (4 x 4m including the stairs) has a wood-clad sloping roof and a window over the garden below and the countryside beyond. This room is currently used as a TV room and library.

From here is a door to the upstairs bathroom (a generous 4 x 4m) with a bath and overhead shower. As is often found in these beautifully restored old houses, it is a bathroom large enough to dance in!

Also accessed from the upstairs living area is a huge bedroom which could easily, quickly and economically be made into two large double bedrooms by simply adding a partition wall with two doors. This space covers 10 x 3m and has a sloping ceiling the wooden beams and cane infill detail.
