It is also just a short drive to the AVE station which is the high-speed train from Alicante to Madrid meaning you can be in Madrid in just over two hours. Sax is dominated by its 13th-century castle, a historic town but offering all modern services and amenities that you would expect from a town with a population of just under 10,000 people - shops, bars, restaurants, schools, medical centre and more. Sax, it´s a great place to live.
