For something more serene it is worth visiting the bodegas and sampling some of the famous local wines.

Yecla has a great road infrastructure and there is easy access to Alicante and Murcia, both being approximately an hour away by car. You have everything you need in the town, schools, doctors, dentists, various shops, supermarkets, bars, cafes and restaurants. The town also has a hospital with an emergency centre.
