The town is overlooked by the Castle and the Santuary of La Purisma, this area is outstanding. The area around Yecla offers lots of activities including hiking, cycling and potholing. For something more serene it is worth visiting the bodegas and sampling some of the famous local wines.

Yecla has a great road infrastructure and there is easy access to Alicante and Murcia, both being approximately an hour away by car. You have everything you need in the town, schools, doctors, dentists, various shops, supermarkets, bars, cafes and restaurants. The town also has a hospital with an emergency centre.
