A traditional Portuguese family home situated on the fringes of Bombarral: a town blessed with rolling vineyards, fruit orchards and within a 45 minute drive of Lisbon.
This family home was built in 1998 and has recently been totally refurbished to a high standard while keeping a traditional Portuguese interior; a feature that makes this home feel very special.

The main entrance to the house is via a large glass patio door allowing light to fill the downstairs living space - an area of some 33 square metres. This room is tiled with a light coloured wood effect finish tothe floor and the walls are part tiled with a traditional Portuguese style pattern.
From here there is direct access to two bedrooms, one of which has an en suite bathroom (containing shower unit toilet and bidet) a utility room, the main bathroom (containing power shower toilet and bidet) and the kitchen.
The kitchen has fitted wall units to two sides finished with natural dark wood doors. There is a stainless steel sink and a concealed gas boiler. In the corner of the room is a wood burning fireplace with stone exterior finish. The ceiling has traditional exposed wooden beams giving character to the room; there is also direct access to a large wine cellar below.
From the living room there is a decorative tiled staircase leading to the first floor. This floor and the roof space is heated by a heat recuperator system.
The first floor has a wide central hallway that leads to the external entrance. From the hallway there is double door access to the main living room. This large living space (25m square) has an open fireplace and access to a balcony.
There are two bedrooms leading from the hallway. The main bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and double doors giving access to the balcony entrance. The second bedroom is approximately 7 metres square.
The main bathroom has a large impressive corner bath, toilet, bidet and washing basin.
The kitchen on the first floor in the house has fully fitted units to two sides all with teak wood finishes.
There is also a free standing wooden kitchen unit with wine bottle storage and a breakfast bar. This kitchen has access to a small south facing balcony.
From the first floor is a tiled staircase to the roof space. This is a very large area and has many uses. It also has a small bathroom with a toilet and basin.
Outside at the rear of the property is a covered barbecue area with an exterior water supply via a decorative stone sink. There is also storage space and a small low maintenance garden.
