This two storey pink house lies just a short walk away from the main village square of Gardelades. Built in 1950 it still shows all the characteristics of a village house where the ground floor was for storage and the first floor for living. Its latest owners have turned the storage room into their living quarters but made sure the property retained its original feel.
The ground floor consists of a kitchen/dining area and the living room. Overall one can notice thick walls and sturdy beams that gives this part of the house a cottage-like feeling.
The second floor is currently only reachable by the outside stairs. It consists of two bedrooms and the bathroom on either side of a corridor. Here the roof is renewed but some of the old (lower) beams are still there.
There is a veranda running along the front of the first floor that looks out over the old village houses and a nearby church. In front of the house is a small courtyard.
Attached to the house is a two-bed studio. One has to go around the house to reach the door of a small patio that is in front of it. The studio is just a little over 20m2 and has a bathroom attached. It used to be the former kitchen of the house, so one could even decide to re-open the space in the wall were the door was to combine studio and house again.
The house is reachable by car either up front or towards the studio on the back but there is no immediate parking space.
