Charming finca location between the beautiful villages of Alozaina and Casarabonela. Nestled in the hillside you have a feeling of visiting your very own retreat... the energy is quite special in this fertile spot.

The houses itself is open plan with kitchen leading from lounge, the wood buring stove provides the winter heat there is also an air conditiong unit provide both cold and warm air. There are two double bedroom and family bathroom. There is also a storage room to the rear of the property as well as a small laundry room.

This property is all about the outdoor space with a terrace sitting to the front of the Finca overlooking the land, a small pond and of course the fruit trees and beautiful campo. There is also a handy storage room on the land to store gardening equipment.

CASARABONELA is located at the foothills of Sierra Prieta, part of the Sierra de las Nieves. The air is clean and the views are stunning, due to the elevated position of the village. It is an ideal base for outdoor- and nature lovers. Hiking, biking, horse riding or just a walk through the mountains and forest, with views over the Guadalhorce valley and even the ocean, are the perfect way to relax and enjoy the piece and quietness of the beautiful surroundings.

Walking through the narrow whitewashed streets, you will discover the Moorish soul, combined with Christian elements and Roman remains. The village has a central church and many plazas and outside terraces where you can enjoy sunshine, local tapas and a drink. Also at night you can join the locals for a drink in one of the bars. They have the usual Andalusian customs and events; the annual feria, procession and a unique Easter celebration. Olives play a big part of their economy, which comes as no surprise when you see the olive groves surrounding the village.

At the highest part of town, the remains of the Arab Castle Casarabonela are visible, besides its historical value it is an exceptional viewpoint! The botanic garden (Jardin Andalusi) of Casarabonela is well known for its collection of cactus plants, there are 2.500 species from all over the world.

Surrounded by mountains, there is one road into the village and one road out. Casarabonela is a bit further off the beaten track, but still located only 40 minutes (47 km.) from Málaga and the airport. The beaches of the Costa del Sol are a 45 minutes (62 km.) drive.
