A dirt track off a local road leads to a large gravel parking area and to the 2 garages. A gate from the parking area leads you up trough and arch to a the front of the property. Before reaching the arch there is a garden area to the right mostly laid to gravel which in turn leads to the rear large terrace with a stone table and benches.

The front terrace enjoys beautiful views. To the left a couple of steps up to another elevated terrace with a pergola and a plunge pool. Again with stunning views.

Covered terrace with main double doors opening to a cosy sitting room with wood-burning stove. Off the sitting room to the front is bedroom 1, a double bedroom with en-suite shower room. Also off the sitting room to the right we find a large living room with wood-burning stove and door leading to bedroom 2, currently used as an office.

Returning the sitting room to the left, a couple of steps up lead to the dining room with feature fireplace and wood-burning stove. Then a step up to the right, a passageway leads to a country style fitted kitchen with central island, wall and base units, granite worktops, gas hob and electrial appliances. The kitchen then leads through an archway to the utility room, a family bathroom and finally to an entrance/hall with the back door out the back terrace with the stone table and benches, ideal for al fresco dining. Off this terrace is a small pedestrian gate which leads to the back garage, used as a storeroom and which also holds the central heating equipment.

The upper level:

From the downstairs sitting room a staircase takes to the first floor. Here we find a spacious living room with door out the roof terrace with spectacular views across the stunning rolling countryside towards the distant mountains. From this terrace an outside staircase leads down to the front terrace.
Off the living room is bedroom 3, a spacious bedroom with built-in wardrobe.
A couple of steps up, through an archway from the living room is an additional room/dressing room, and from here a couple of steps up to bedroom 4, the large master bedroom with en-suite shower room, walk-in wardrobe and wood-burning stove.

Back to the front terrace, just a few steps up to the side of the main house and through an archway we arrive at a beautiful low walled terrace with access to an additional attached but independent summer house /entertainemnt room with separate dining and living areas and a small kitchen/utility with door to a separate room which used to hold the solar equipment.

Opposite the main house, a few steps down to a lower level to the left, there are outbuildings such as the pump house/store room under the pool terrace, also holding the solar equipment for heating the pool. A bit further down is a large room used as a gym with door leading to a laundry room which in turns leads to the garage.

Opposite these outbuildings and below the front terrace is an established garden with a few olive trees and the solar panels for pool heating.

The property benefits from mains water and electric, oil-fired central heating, Internet and solar energy equipment which is not currently connected.

This beautiful country house sits on a plot of above 4 hectares of rolling land with flat areas.

A truly stunning detached property, blessed with privacy and tranquillity and yet situated within 7-8 minutes' drive from all the amenities offered by the market town of Velez Rubio. The city of Lorca with its magnificent medieval castle and a huge shopping mall is within a 45 minute drive. The coastal resorts of Águilas and San Juan de Los Terreros, etc are within an hour drive away.
