Full Description

A beautiful little detached country house on one level, with its own fenced garden and covered terrace area, plus steps up to a small roof terrace, plus extra land on the hillside opposite.

This attractive, detached country house is located in a small hamlet at the edge of the Montes de Malaga. It is around 10 minutes’ drive from the hamlet of Los Ventorros, which as two bar/restaurants and a small shop, and additional 5 minutes, beyond, to the village of Comares, with more facilities.

The hamlet, deep in the hills, is a peaceful, attractive little gathering of country houses, and it is like stepping back in time! It consists of around 10 houses set in glorious, totally unspoilt countryside, with plenty of lovely walks and lots of wildlife. This is the perfect place to escape from a busy life! There is a dirt track of around 1.5Kms to reach the property.

The house has a fully fenced garden, on three sides, (a small gap on the fourth side separates this house from the next door house), with plenty of space for planting and landscaping. There are mature olive trees, some fruit trees and grapevines. To the front is a parking area, paved open terrace, and a covered terrace. Behind the house is a rear garden, with a flat area by the house which could be made into a lovely terrace, and an area that drops down the hill, planted with olive trees. This area could be cleared considerably and improved, and steps could lead down to the bottom of the garden. There is a useful storage shed to the rear.

Steps from the covered terrace lead up onto a small roof terrace, which is a perfect look-out point, to observe the countryside and nature, and a fabulous place to watch the stars in the dark night skies.

From the covered terrace (2 x 8m), which has a table and chairs for outside dining and relaxing, a door leads into the main living room and kitchen, which is one, open plan space (10 x 3.5m). The kitchen is basic, but could easily be improved, at very little cost, and a woodburner could be installed. To the centre of the rear wall, an arch leads to an area which gives access to the two bedrooms, to the left and the right, both a good size (4 x 3.5m) with a little bathroom between the two (2 x 2m with small bath and overhead shower).

On the other side of the entrance track, the rest of the land leads up the hill to a flat area which could be used to grow fruit trees or vegetables.

The house has a brand new, regulation septic tank, its own well, a water deposit and mains electricity. It is fully registered.

The house takes its name from the old lady who used to own it, Isabel.
