Damson House is located in the lower part of the village of Lakones and falls into the very rare category of a village house with a garden. In need of full renovation, the main structure is solid apart from the roof which would need replacing. There are original stone features and the construction date of 1858 carved into a feature plaque.
On two floors with a cellar as well, the ground floor has a slightly more modern kitchen a small bathroom and 2 rooms while upstairs is basically one big room which has been divided with plasterboard walls.
The basement is separately accessed through the garden and has only ever been used as storage space.
To the other side is a ruined single storey building that could be transformed into an outdoor kitchen/barbecue. This is being sold separately.
Car access is possible though at present there is no parking outside the house. A raised platform could be built for parking over the garden, which is below the level of the road.
The house and garden have lovely sea views towards Paleokastritsa.
