The property has a wall with wrought iron decorative elements all to the front, with a vehicle access leading to the rear of the house and a pedestal entrance leading to the front door. The driveway and the rear of the house are laid in typical Portuguese 'calçada', a type of hand crafted cobblestone.

We enter into a large welcoming hall, from where we have access to:

At the far end of the kitchen there is a door to the covered terrace to the side of the house. The second section accommodates a large table and eight chairs and there is a sofa in front of the fire place. At this other end, we have a storage room and there is a door to a large covered veranda, also supported by carved stone pillars and with wrought iron balustrade. Back into the welcoming hall, we have a marble clad staircase leading into the large basement with extremely high ceiling. This is mostly open space, with a fully tiled bathroom with shower cubicle, vanity basin with storage cupboard underneath, toilet and bidet. There is an electric roll-up door so that the basement can be used as a garage to storage at least four or five cars. The basement is currently used as a playroom for grandchildren and as storage for surplus furniture, with the bathroom serving as laundry room.
Walking out to the rear of the house, there is a large shaded area with carved stone pillars supporting the kitchen veranda. From here we have access to another structure, accommodating a carport to fit two vehicles, and a typical Portuguese out door kitchen with bread or pizza oven, bbq, stainless-steel sink and nice work surface. From the carport part there is a door leading to steps into a cellar compartment being used as a wine cellar.
There is a wonderful garden to the front, the left side and the rear of the house, with lawn and a great variety of flowers and shrubs, all very well cared for. On the side of the driveway there is a totally fenced off vineyard, around 12 years old, which gives a good crop every autumn and makes a wonderful wine.
To the rear of the garden, we have a field for grazing or for planting crops or trees, or to build a pool area, and another field with diverse fruit mature trees.
The house benefits from high quality pvc double glazed windows and doors with thermal break frames and electric external shutters throughout, and there is electric underfloor heating in all rooms. The floors in the bedrooms are full wood.
