Location description

You can go exploring in the picturesque countryside of the Argentario, on foot or by bicycle. The house is located along one of the trails for hiking and mountain biking.
The Maremma offers the possibility to discover small medieval villages where to appreciate the architecture, landscapes and local cuisine. The farms and vineyards offer tastings and direct sales of their products: olive oil, wine, cheese, honey, etc..
From Porto S. Stefano you can go by ferry to the islands of the Tuscan archipelago: Giglio, Giannutri, Elba, etc.
Lots of romantic and impressive beaches.
In the heart of Maremma is located the famous Saturnia Spa Resort, where you can relax and be pampered all year round. The area is full of protected areas in which you can appreciate the wildlife and fauna. The Orbetello lagoon is inhabited by herons, egrets, cormorants, flamingos etc.
The Argentario also offers a new 18-hole golf course, stables, polo field for part of an international circuit, tennis courts, sailing school at the Yacht Club and is the main centre for diving courses and excursions on the coast.
The seafood restaurants are outstanding at Porto Santo Stefano and Porto Ercole.
