This lovely property has great size rooms and lots of character. All of its land is fenced and is all very well set out. The property would definitely be great for someone who has a large social agenda as there are two excellent sized annexes, making for the perfect spots to host parties or social gatherings or just to wine and dine on one of the many warm, summer nights that Portugal is famous for.
The property has an automatic gated entrance, which opens up onto a driveway that leads up to a large parking area and the annexes. The first annex is to the left which is all open space and has an exposed wooden roof. Straight ahead is where the second annex starts and then wraps round in an 'L' shape to the other side of the garden, this end is more just storage space. This part has a bathroom, a lounge area and an open air kitchen equipped with a barbecue and a wood oven to make your very own pizzas or bread, there is also hot water here.
Now, entering the house via the front door, we have a decent size entrance hall. Off to the left is an office but it could easily be turned into another bedroom if needed. To the right is double doors into the living room. The living room is spacious and has an open fireplace as well as three sets of patio doors, making it triple aspect and flooding the room with light.
From the living room, we have a door giving access to the kitchen. The kitchen is very commodious and has a dining area as well as a small lounge area. There is a door leading to the parking area, so nice and easy access straight in from the car.
Back out into the entrance hall, there is a set of ranch style doors, leading to a bathroom and an en-suite bedroom. The bedroom has patio doors onto the front porch.
Now upstairs, we have a total of three bedrooms. To the right is a storage area in the eaves, a bedroom straight in front with a family bathroom with a bathtub next door and to the left are the remaining bedrooms. The master suite is an extremely good size and is en-suite with his and hers sinks, it also has access out onto a balcony.
The property is situated in a village only 5 minutes away from the town of Ferreira do Zêzere.
Here we have several supermarkets, restaurants, school, sports center and bus station, where transport to Lisbon via Tomar and to towns further to the north is available.
Tomar is approximately 15 minutes by car. Tomar is a bustling market town which boasts a variety of supermarkets, shops, cafes, restaurants, historic monuments, parks, sports centres, hospital, bus and train station and weekly Friday market. Tomar is also home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, built in the 12th century by the Knights' Templar.
The house is about 50 minutes from the Silver Coast beach resorts and 2 hours to the Serra da Estrela, Portugals highest mountains and ski area.
The closest airport to the property is Lisbon, which is around one hour by car.
