Dol is only a few kilometres away from the vehicle Ferry port at Stari Grad, operated by Jadrolinija. There are many crossings to Split daily, and in summer the services are extensive, including a night crossing. In the other direction in the town of Jelsa, Jadrolinija also operates a daily catamaran service to Split via Bol on the island of Brac. This is an all year round service and makes the mainland town of Split quite accessible.
