Mures in Jaen province is a small town belonging to the municipality of Alcala la Real. It is located in the Sierra Sur de Jaen, just 100 metres from the border of the province of Granada.  There are several fiestas held throughout the year including March 19th San Jose – People meet to celebrate the festivity of the Patron of Mures in Jaen having lunch together in the countryside and enjoying the day with family and friends. In the evening, there is a procession of the Saint. August San Roque. The main festivity of the town is celebrated on the 16th, 17th and 18th of August. During these days there are lots of cultural, sporting and religious events.
