The local town of Castello De Rugat has everything you could wish for, large supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks, schools, huge Olympic size village swimming pool, large 24 hour medical centre, chemists, and sports centre etc and just a few minutes’ drive from this property! The typical traditional Spanish dishes in this village include baked “coques de dacsa” (corn cakes), which are accompanied by salted sardines, pork or homemade sausages from the village. “Arròs al forn” (baked rice) is also popular, there is also a large Irish bar serving very reasonable menu´s of the day with a varied menu and many other bars and restaurants to chose from!
