This lovely bungalow was built only 7 years ago to a very high standard. The property is extremely spacious but at the same time has a nice homely feeling.
Upon entering we have a spacious entrance hall with the living room to the right which has a double faced fireplace (the other side is in the kitchen). There are two sets of large patio doors leading out to the front garden so the room has lots of natural light.
Back into the hallway, we carry on forward and we reach the kitchen. The kitchen is again, very spacious and has lots of storage space as it has a pantry. There are another two sets of patio doors opening out onto the porch area.
Further down the hall are the two bathrooms, both are good sizes.
The property has three bedrooms in total. There are two to the front of the house that have large windows and the master which is to the back has patio doors out onto the garden area. All of the bedrooms have built in wardrobes.
To the outside there is a garage, big enough for two cars and there is also a large storage room.
The garden is completely fenced so perfect for pets. The swimming pool area has a nice relaxing atmosphere.
The location is very peaceful and it is within walking distance to a café.
The larger town of Tomar, which has supermarkets, shops, builders merchants, cafes, restaurants, health centres, schools, a weekly market, swimming pools and historic Convento do Cristo and Castle constructed by the Knight Templars in the 12th century is around 15 minutes away.
Castelo do Bode lake, Portugal's second largest reservoir is around 30 minutes from the property. This lake is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including swimming, sailing, canoeing, scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing. The lake is also a haven for wildlife and there are many river beaches close to the property, ideal for relaxing sunny days at the water's edge.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one hour and a quarter drive from the property, though it is possible to utilize either train or bus for this journey. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries
