As you arrive at the property, you are greeted by a gated entrance and then a long driveway up to the house.
Going inside via the front door, we enter into a hallway which leads immediately into the living room. The living room is full of natural light as it has three large windows and a set of patio doors. There is a large wood burner, which is more than enough to heat this room. Off of the living room is a good size storage room which is underneath the stairs.
On the kitchen side there is another set of patio doors leading out onto the front patio where there is a really pretty seating are with great views. The kitchen has plenty of storage, to each side of the room. There are base and wall cabinets.
There is a pantry directly off of the kitchen which has very good storage. There is also a toilet on this level as well as a large utility room.
Upstairs, we have the master bedroom to the right which has the best views in the whole house. The bedroom has two sets of patio doors which lead out to a veranda. From the veranda, you have views of the countryside for as far as the eye can see. It is quite rare to get views like these. The en-suite has a bathtub with an overhead shower.
To the left, on the landing, we have a toilet and a further two bedrooms which are both good sizes and have views out onto the pool area. To the right hand side of the hall is a small library and then a double bedroom with a large window to the front of the house so again, making the most of that beautiful view.
At the end of the landing is the family bathroom. It's a good size and has a bathtub with a shower over the top.
To the outside, tucked away to the back of the property giving it lots of privacy, is the magnificent swimming pool area with wonderful shade for all of the family to enjoy. This really is a lovely space with a covered patio area that could be used as a summer kitchen.
The property is situated in a village only 10 minutes away from Tomar.
Tomar has supermarkets, shops, builders merchants, cafes, restaurants, health centres, schools, a weekly market, swimming pools and historic Convento do Cristo and Castle constructed by the Knight Templars in the 12th century.
To Castelo de Bode lake it is only around 10 km. This lake is popular for all kinds of water sport activities including swimming, sailing, canoeing, scuba diving, wind surfing and water skiing.
The lake is also a haven for wildlife and there are many river beaches close to the property, ideal for relaxing on sunny days at the water's edge.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is around one and a half hours' drive from the house, though it is possible to utilize either train or bus for this journey. Lisbon airport is serviced by several low cost airlines which operate regular flights into and out of the United Kingdom and other European countries.
