La Llosa is a delightful small village; traditionally its main occupation was the growing of lemons, as well as oranges, almonds and olives, and the terraces on the hills surrounding the village still contain many plantations of all these species. There are delightful walks in the valley around the village and on the surrounding mountains.

Good shopping and restaurants are to be found in the nearby small towns of Pedreguer and Jalon. Within a 15-minute drive, you can be in the popular coastal resort of Denia, with beautiful beaches, marinas, restaurants and seasonal water-sport facilities. Denia is one of the livelier areas of the north Costa Blanca and is busy all year round. The town centre with a great selection of fashion boutiques, shops, cafes and restaurants becomes pedestrianized in the early evenings and the restaurant tables spill out into the street giving it a party feel.

The port of Denia is fantastic if you fancy a trip to the Balearic Islands such as Ibiza or Mallorca. In Denia, Javea as well as Moraira there are many fine-dining restaurants as well as cobbled streets full of tapas bars and restaurants which ensure you will never run out of choice. A great place to come and live or have a holiday.
