There is an excellent weekly general market and there is also a lovely public park that is lovely for family days out. The park has the Garden Cafe where you can buy drinks, snacks and meals.

There are many lovely walks directly from your front door out into the surrounding countryside. There is also a local choir that is happy to welcome new members as part of their group or at the events held locally during the course of the year.

The coast is less than an hour and Lisbon Airport is approximately 1.5 hours away.
