The property is located on the Hill of the Lagoon in Foz do Arelho. It has stunning views over the Obidos Lagoon, the village and surrounding countryside.

In Foz you will find several cafes, restaurants, pharmacy, butchers, several mini-markets, bank, doctors offices and other amenities.

There is a sailing school on the lagoon where you can take all manor of water sports lessons or for those who are more experienced you can rent equipment. They teach sailing, surfing, wind surfing diving and other water related sports.

The beach at Foz do Arelho is always popular due in part to the inlet that leads to the Obidos Lagoon which provides for a safe swimming area for families and on the other side the ruggedness of the Atlantic Ocean where there are fabulous surfing opportunities.

Ten minutes from Foz do Arelho along the Scenic Estrada Atlantico is the town of Sao Martinho do Porto where there is another stunning beach and a vibrant town filled with shops, cafes, restaurants.

Less than ten minutes away is the large bustling town of Cadas da Rainha where there are a plethora of shops, a huge selection of restaurants including local Portuguese delicacies and other ethnic choices. There is a daily fruit and vegetable market and a weekly general market. In the centre of Caldas da Rainha is a stunning centre park area where there is always something going on.
