Akbuk is a small resort once a small fishing village and still retains is small traditional feel, there is a lovely harbour here where you can arrange a boat trip in the summer months, surrounding the harbour is the small nightly bazaar in summer, and also in the summer months you may just catch some entertainment. In this same area you can walk and seleict your fresh fish for the night’s evening meal and of course there is a small selection of bars and restaurants offering a high standard of food, many stick to the traditional Turkish menus.

There is a large market here on a Friday so you can purchase just about everything you will need locally and fresh. Long at the harbour you can take a boat ride, go fishing or just relax on one of the small beaches scattered along the resort coastline, back by the green lush Kiran mountains, quiet and tranquil is the small resort of Akbuk. Enjoy a picnic somewhere along the seashore under the shade of one of the many trees dotted around, or rent a deckchair and parasol at the waters edge and sit by the sea for the day enjoy the calm clean waters.

There is easy access to the neighbouring resort of Altinkum if you want something a little more lively the local Dolmus runs frequently.
