The medieval market town of Chauvigny is about 45 km drive away, where you can explore the castle, ride on the velo-rail and watch the famous 'Geants du Ciel' huge birds of prey perform for you. Futuroscope is about 60km and monkey valley at Romagne, and, recently opened, Crocodile Planet, at Civaux are all within an easy drive. This area also benefits from the micro-climate and is the second sunniest region of France, after the Côte d'Azure. Poitiers airport about 55km and Limoges airport about 65km.
