Casa Chalet is a sweet semi-detached house (75 sqm), on two floors, with two bedrooms and with a sizeable well-kept garden (200 sqm). On the ground floor is a living room with fireplace, a kitchenette and a dining room which overlooks the garden, a perfect place for summer dinners and spring lunches. On the first floor there are two bedrooms and one bathroom.

In the private garden, which surrounds the house on three sides, there is a small outbuilding for storage of garden tools and summer furniture.

The house is in perfect condition, ready to be live in throughout the year or for summer and winter holidays. There are terracotta floors, wooden beamed ceilings and a well-equipped kitchen.

Pian degli Ontani is a small village in the municipality of Cutigliano, surrounded by the mysterious mountains of the Tuscan Apennines, 800 m above sea level. It is located in the center of the Bioenergetics Reserve, where the river Sestaione flows downhill through the forest. The area is covered with many walking trails which are used for cross-country skiing in the winter. There are excursions for all levels and difficulties; the gentle slopes are rich with unforgettable images and ideal for long walks in the woods.
It is possible to practice many sports: canoeing and rafting down the river Lima, mountain biking, paragliding, as well as tennis and horse-riding, all within a few kilometers, but the most popular sport is skiing on the slopes of Abetone (11 km away from the house) or Monte Cimone (27 km away from the house ). Pian degli Ontani is the winter destination for those looking for accommodation close to the ski resort of Abetone and the summer destination for those looking for relaxation away from the heat of the city. There are many old traditions in the small village of Pian degli Ontani, and among these the Epiphany is the most popular. It starts in the afternoon of the 5th January with sweets and peanuts, then 'Mrs Befana' arrives at the main square with a gift for each of the children and in the night the longest Comet in Europe will shine in the sky!! Shops, restaurant and bar are in the village, just a few steps from the house.
