The property is situated in small village close to the Market town of Miranda do corvo, which offer a range of services and amenities such as, restaurants, cafés, market, banks, medical centre, post office, pharmacy, Police station, Fire Brigade, Outdoor swimming pools, full size football pitch, ath-letics running track and more. Each Wednesday morning there is a market in the town selling all regional delicacies such as bread, fruit and vegetables, plants, shoes and clothing.
Every 1st Sunday of the year there’s a flea market in the centre of town.
The house is approximately 10minutes by car from the town of Miranda do Corvo and 15 min from the castle town of Penela .
The city of Lousã is 20 minutes drive away.
The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, founded by the Templar’s crusaders is only 45 minutes drive from the property.
All major European high street shopping is also available in the city of Coimbra the 3rd biggest city in Portugal which is only 30 minutes drive away.
There are also very good access roads to the IC8 dual carriageway, which leads to the coastal towns of Figueira da Foz and can be reached by car in approximately 1hour.
The Ski resort of Serra da Estrela is 2 hours away.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Porto, which is approximately one and half hours by car.
