The property sits in a very private countryside area, in the hamlet of Ameixeira just at the edge of the village of Pelma, which is very near the Town of Freixianda where you can find most amenities.

The property has external double gate just off a cobbled road, through this gate there's a drive that leads on to a car port and covered patio area, perfect for family BBQ's.
The front door of the house gives access to a hallway, which in turn accesses the treble aspect kitchen on the left, featuring Portuguese marble work tops and the seating room at the end. In the seating room there's an open fire place featuring the original wood lintel and has 2 windows and another glass brick window which in times was a door, from this room there are steps leading down on to another hallway which provides access to the bathroom with bath tub and shower enclosure, two small single rooms and the staircase to the sunroom landing accessing 2 double rooms.
The property has an old stone well which was used back in the days.

About the location
The property is situated in a rural location though is only a short drive from most amenities. The closest village Pelma is only 2.5 Km away.
The property is accessed via a cobbled lane and there are only 2 or 3 neighbouring houses near by.
The closest towns to the property is Alvaiazere and Freixianda which are within 10 and 5 minutes drive.
Both towns have all the basic amenities.
The historic town of Tomar, which is home to the UNESCO listed Convento do Cristo, founded by the Templar’s crusaders is only 30 minutes’ drive from the property.
All major European high street shopping is also available in the city of Coimbra the 3rd biggest city in Portugal which is only 55 minutes’ drive on the A13 motorway.
There are also very good access roads to the IC8 dual carriageway, which leads to the coastal towns of Figueira da Foz and can be reached by car in approximately 1hour 10 min.
The closest airport to the property is situated at Lisbon, which is approximately 1 and 1/2 hours’ by car.
