2 Kilometers from the village for the basic necessities and one Kilometer to the lake for pleasant strolls and fishing.

Accommodation:

Entrance into the conservatory, which in turn leads to the office, this could make a lovely downstairs bedroom, as there is also the main doorway into the lounge from the garden, thus providing a separate entrance.
Through the office into the spacious lounge and dining area with a feature fireplace and wood burning stove. this ground floor area has underfloor electric heating and tiled surface.
From the lounge a fully fitted kitchen and large utility room, this utility room could be converted into a downstairs bathroom, if required. Also on the ground floor a separate WC and wash hand basin.
Again from the lounge area a wooden stairway leading to 3 double bedrooms, one of the bedrooms has another room of it, making it a great dressing area, or child's bedroom.

The department of Finistere has a feeling of being carved out of the earth by the sea and is the wildest area of Brittany, it is also the most western of all French departments. The name Finistere comes from the Latin phrase 'finis terrae', meaning 'land's end'.

It has the English Channel to the north, Cotes-d'Armor and Morbihan to the east, the Bay of Biscay to the south and the Atlantic Ocean to the west.

Quimper, the department's capital, is located to the south and has a distinctive Breton character just like all the main towns such as Brest, Chateaulin, Morlaix and Quimper. Over a third of the area is covered with forest, moors and scrubland.

Along the coast, farmers divide their time between commercial fishing and working their small farms. To see the Fish-markets, Douarnenez is worth a visit as is Brest which is on the west coast and is also a major naval port.
