A Place in the Sun Live's Property Showcase in Dublin is over and out! On 10th & 11th October, we returned to the RDS welcoming over 1,600 house hunters eager to explore the possibilities of owning a property or moving overseas.
From finding the perfect holiday home to planning a permanent move abroad, the Dublin exhibition gave visitors the opportunity to turn their overseas property ambitions into practical next steps. As the official exhibition of the hit Channel 4 TV show, A Place in the Sun Live connects aspiring buyers with overseas property experts, offering guidance on everything from property searches and legal matters to finance, tax, currency and relocation.

Joined by A Place in the Sun's TV Star, Jasmine Harman
Visitors got the chance to get the inside scoop from A Place in the Sun's TV presenter Jasmine Harman! From house hunting tricks to top tips for finding property abroad, Jasmine shared the lessons she learnt from her own search and the secrets to finding the perfect place in the sun. Visitors could also meet Jasmine in person at our Show Guide signing session, grab a selfie and chat about their own house hunting plans!
Live seminars: purchase processes, tax, residency, visas & more
From choosing the right location to understanding the legal and financial side of buying abroad, visitors to had the opportunity to hear from experts and legal professionals who shared practical advice to help them take the next step towards finding their dream property overseas.
Those considering Spain could discover how the country’s different costas compare, explore where their budget might stretch further and gain insights to help them refine their property search. Visitors could also hear from legal specialists to share advice on navigating the buying process safely and efficiently, as well as the practical considerations of living there.
For aspiring buyers interested in Portugal, experts offered guidance on the legal steps involved in purchasing a property, alongside insights into local property prices and availability. For those weighing up France and Italy, experts from both countries explored what each market had to offer, helping visitors better understand their options and decide which destination might be the best fit for their budget and lifestyle.
Cyprus was also on the agenda, with visiting experts sharing their local knowledge and offering insights into where to buy and what to consider before committing to a property overseas.
40 exhibitors from more than 10 countries
With more than 40 exhibitors representing over 10 countries, our event brought a world of overseas property opportunities to the RDS. Visitors could meet property specialists and relocation experts face to face, ask questions, compare destinations and get personalised advice tailored to their own journey.
From the Mediterranean favourites of Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Turkey to the tropical appeal of Costa Rica, Panama and Thailand, alongside opportunities in Egypt and the USA, there was a wealth of destinations to explore.
